The customization allowed is great - allows us to do things that other vendors wouldn't be able to handle (like our stock purchase program). The scheduled reporting and automated delivery is great for communicating information to managers and employees. There are so many features, I am not certain that we fully utilize all of them. I would like to see better payroll reports but I know that the new payroll being rolled out should solve this "con".

It is not so much a fault of the software, but we just do not have the man power to setup and use everything we could be getting out of the system.
The ease of use. We have several companies of various complexities, the system can process all companies in one pay run. The functionality of processing our T4s (Canadian) makes my year-end less stressful.Cons

I like the flexibility the system offers. We have a variety of companies. The system allows us to have items automatically setup which generate when a particular payroll is processed. We have employees who receive car allowances with the first check of the month. The system generates the records for the first payroll of the month, but does not import them for any other payrolls. Although we have insurance, motels, and breweries, we are able to maintain a standard processes for completing the payroll for all the companies. Most of the time with diverse payrolls each one has to be processed a little differently. I am glad to say not with this software. It is easy to follow the wizards to setup new hires etc. in the system. The security allows multiple ways of granting access which allows companies to pin point who can review what. The software is robust and an overall great system.Cons
At month end clearing the previous quarter\'s-year end totals. This is done with running a process, having multiple companies I am always afraid I will miss one. It is not an easy task to fix if it is missed. It can be done.
